JONATHAN SAUNDERS / menswear

rarely in the chronicles of my fashion scope has a womenswear designer been able to command my attention with such authority and awe as JONATHAN SAUNDERS has proven time and time again // ever since his fall 2006 womenswear collection, which was influenced by peggy guggenheim's 1940's art collection / he has been an immense source of inspiration on my own graphic work / a prodigiously talented print designer with a fine-art background / it makes sense his point of influence could be felt across all mediums  // / so with the arrival of few menswear looks in his most recent fall 2011 show during LONDON FASHION WEEK / its without saying how excited i am that he will soon be relaunching a menswear line // and this particular collection, influenced my pioneering photographer paul outerbridge, was beyond stunning // JONATHAN SAUNDERS is the man to watch
