“It’s not like retro or anything. It’s just timeless fucking music that people like. The whole retro thing is cool, but you have to understand--rock n’ roll, country, and punk have all been borrowed. It’s all gone through the gamut and there are just new incarnations of it. If you want to start an avant-garde band, then go fucking do that and that’s cool. But, if you like rock n’ roll, then just put your own spin on it and you’ll be free.” - TIM PRESLEY

SEX / w kate moss & andy warhol

videos are designed to play together at the same time.... tho you might press replay on the WHITE STRIPES i just dont know what to do with myself.. it would of been handy if SOFIA COPPOLLA had directed an 8 min edit of this tune.. seriously... and just how does KATE MOSS end up dancing in every great rock tune..

someone like you / ADELE

its as if ADELE is the last romantic standing in PARIS... its been ages since an artist has been able to command a video... utterly beautiful. (excluding lykke li and robyn of course, but lets be honest, there just something special in the water in sweden...)

all bands i had wished were playing play #MPMF this weekend. but no luck on that. ha. but hell, there are like 200 indie bands playing over three nights in town and i do have this fancy wristband that gets me into all the shows... so im bound to find something, RIGHT?
